Going to the gym was my big no, no until I met Kathryn and discovered BActive.
Once you start going there you feel well looked after and motivated. Kathryn's professional approach to your needs by designing the program of exercises tailored just for you makes you follow her advice and do your best to reach the target.
BActive gym has a very friendly atmosphere and very quickly you feel at home.
There is no need to feel ashamed of your body having only instructor with you.
As a doctor I am aware of the health problems which inactivity and over-eating brings so I am referring my patients to BActive for help to improve their fitness and lose weight.
I am setting the example by going there myself and I do feel great and full of energy after each session.

I have been a member of BActive Gym for over 20 years, having switched from Pauline to Kathryn when Kathryn bought the BActive business in 2005.
I like the fact that the gymnasium is small and offers privacy. It has a range of equipment which allows a variety of exercise.
Kathryn is an outstanding trainer, she is knowledgeable skilled and inventive. She is able to design suitable exercises, taking into account a persons original level of fitness and any injuries or other problems a person may have.
Furthermore her friendly outgoing manner and her sense of humor make training with her a delight and provide excellent motivation. She is responsive to the likes and dislikes of her clients and often finds ingenious ways around problems.
Working with her is a pleasure and I have no hesitation in giving her my strongest possible endorsement.

I have been coming to the classes at BActive for nearly 8 years now and I love it.
Kathryn is a great trainer as she pushes you, but gently. She encourages you to give it all you got and has faith that you can do amazing things. The classes are varied and never boring.
Kathryn targets body areas to optimise the work out. After a class you notice the difference in your energy levels and you walk away feeling great. Best of all your posture improves and you're getting more healthy. Couldn't recommend enough.

For those of you out there who are thinking about getting a personal trainer, I would recommend Kathryn Lillyston.
I have been attending B Active twice a week for about 6 years and have found Kathryn to be most professional, well organised and very supportive. Every session she provides a well-planned programme that addresses the whole body. I am fitter now and have more strength than I have ever had and I attribute that to my fitness regime with Kathryn.
