To compliment your Training session or as a standalone treatmentMassage can give your trainer more detail about your overall health and movement abilities simply by the way you respond to massage therapy. Often tight muscles are revealed which may be the cause of a faulty movement pattern or a sense of pain you feel when performing certain exercises. As trainers, the more information we have on your physical abilities, the more affective our training prescriptions will be. Massage also enhances your capacity for calm thinking and creativity, in this ridiculously busy working/living environment we now all succumb to, it’s increasingly important to take some time out for yourself to re-set and de-stress. Studies show that office workers who were massaged regularly were more alert, performed better and were less stressed than those who were not massaged. Available in 30, 45 or 60 minute treatments, a popular alternative is to (as needed) include it as part of your training session, for example, a 60 minute session could be a half hour exercise session followed immediately by a 30 minute massage treatment to relieve the muscles just worked. Again this option gives us that little extra information about how the body responds as a whole to a training session. Your trainer may suggest this as part of your regime on the day of your initial consult. It is especially popular with our older clients, or those suffering from old injuries where the muscles have a tendency to stiffen up post workout.
Talk to us about your requirements as we are very adaptable to suit the individual needs of the client. Noteworthy benefits of therapeutic massage…
